Currriculum Vitae
Emmanuel Vavadakis was born in 1979 in Athens. He studied Mechanics at ASETEM - SELETE and graduated in 2003. He holds a Pedagogical Degree and an English Language Degree. He is trained at the Military School of Reserve Officers of the Transportation Supply Corps and was discharged with the rank of Second Lieutenant Reserve. He has been working as a professor of engineering in vocational high schools since 2004 with specialization in Machine Tools and Components Manufacture, Central Heating, Cooling, Air Conditioning and Internal Combustion Engines.
Marble sculpture became his passion since 2012 attending lessons at Kalamata Artistic Stack, under the guidance of Sculptor Yiannis Gouzos. Since then, he has participated in four (4) Open Sculpture Workshops with an equal number of sculptures. At his spare time he continues to create and experiment with Metal, Wood and Marble, creating sculptures and jewels.
